DROGA5 is an advertising agency known for its innovation and strategy-based campaigns for clients like Under Armour, UNICEF, Chobani, Puma, Hennessey, Prudential Insurance, Newcastle, Spotify and Bing.
Jennifer was part of the initial design team at Rogers Partners tasked with developing departmental programming, space planning and materials selection. In 2013 Jennifer started her own practice but continued to work on the project as a consultant responsible for specifying all interior furnishings and décor. She was later asked to join Droga5’s in-house art committee.
The team’s approach to the design was to strategically intersperse departmental hubs throughout the three main office floors to encourage movement within the space. This included inserting vertical circulation to accommodate impromptu meetings and an oversized, amphitheater staircase that encourages social gathering due to its scale and adjacency to the kitchen, often referred to as the “heart” of the agency.
The material palette consists of natural materials such as charred wood, which was used to help define the main spine of circulation linking the three floors. The goal of the design process was to deliberately keep things simple, open and clean in order to provide a canvas for the creative talent at
In addition to the open office areas, conference rooms, and executive offices, there are many “living rooms” placed throughout the office floors. Jennifer sourced vintage pieces to complement the new furniture, creating a more inviting and comfortable atmosphere.
